How I communicate
These preferences control when mesj offers help. mesj does not send or change messages without your approval.
The message you nearly sentReading
mesj never shows blue ticks, "seen at", "last active" or "online now". Messages show only Sending, Sent or Couldn't send. When something needs acknowledging, people press Got it.
Notifications
You decide what interrupts you.
Direct messages
Someone messages you privately.
Group conversation
Ordinary talk in a group.
Plan invitations and changes
You are invited, or an agreed plan moves.
“Need you” messages
Someone says timely attention genuinely matters.
Deliver quietly means the message waits inside mesj without demanding your attention.
Who may use “Need you” on you
Only the people you choose below.
Conversation check-in
Instead of being pushed all day, mesj can remind you once. Off by default.
This browser cannot show notifications, so nothing here will interrupt you yet.
In this prototype, immediate and quiet delivery are handled inside mesj. A browser cannot control how your phone itself alerts you.
Quiet mode
Nothing but calls and Need you messages, if you allow them.
My circle
Who belongs on your quiet phone? The small number of people allowed to reach you here. Start small; you can add more later.
Your spaces
One account. Keep work conversations apart from friends and family, and set when work stops.
Privacy and safety
Private development beta · not yet end-to-end encrypted. mesj is not an emergency service.
Replay activity shows the demonstration inbox receiving a new message. Reset clears the Sarah conversation, the recommendation choice, the confirmed plan and the Ask for ideas examples.
